5-6 Testing OVNM and HPOM Integration

The following procedure will generate a test EMS event using the ITO user interface. Once generated, OVNM

will process the message and send it to HPOM and be displayed in the Message Browser. You can send a test

message using the Test Message tool.

NOTE:

The procedure assumes that OVNM is running on the HP NonStop Server, which will generate the EMS

event.

Follow the steps below to execute the Test Message application from the ITO user interface.

1. Right-Click the node on which the OVNM-HPOM integration is to be tested and select the Start/NonStop

Tools/ OVNM Tools menu option.

2. In the displayed menu, select the Test Message tool.
