7. Enter the label of the HP NonStop node that you want to be displayed in HPOM.

9. OVNM can be configured to support one or more HP Operations Management Servers. You can configure
OVNM to support a pair of HPOM Management Servers as primary, backup or broadcast.
For details, refer to Chapter 12: Event Delivery Management.
Specify the HPOM Management server as Primary, Backup or broadcast server. Enter 1 for primary, 2 for
backup and 3 for broadcast.

This completes the OVNM configuration portion of the installation. A successful configuration will display
the following message.
OVNM is successfully configured. Deploy the NonStop Server policies on to OMU
Server and assign the responsibilities to the users for NonStop messages.
6-3-1 Configuring the HPOMU 9 Environment
The OM 9 UNIX Administration UI will be used to configure the HP NonStop Server templates, and assign
HPOM9 users responsibilities. The NonStop Server icon is added to the OVO Node Bank Group after OVNM
installation. To configure the HPOM9 environment, perform the following steps.
Assign HP NonStop Server Template Group
Deploy HP NonStop Server Template Group
Set User Responsibilities and Applications
Follow procedures in the section, Configuring the HPOM9 Environment to complete Configuration
