Policy
Description
Operators Allowed
NO BACKUP PROCESS
NO BACKUP PROCESS allows the user to
determine if a backup process exists. In other
words, the process is not running as a NONSTOP
process pair.
Valid Operations:
To generate an Exception event when a certain
process is not running in a NONSTOP fashion
the user does not need to specify any values
for PolicyLow, PolicyHigh nor a
PolicyOperator.
The user can specify different times in which
the process will be checked to be running in a
NONSTOP mode.
No operator.
PRIORITY OF PROCESS
PRIORITY OF PROCESS allows the user to check on
the priority assigned to the process to be
monitored.
Equal to <value1>
Not equal to <value1>
Less than <value1>
Less than or equal to <value1>
Greater than <value1>
Greater than or equal to <value1>
Greater than <value1> and less than
<value2>
Less than <value1> or greater than
<value2>
PROCESS IS DOWN
PROCESS IS DOWN allows the user to check if a
process is not running.
No operator.
PROCESS IS UP PROCESS IS UP allows the user to check if a
process is running. The following process states will
define a process UP state:
UNALLOCATED
STARTING
RUNNABLE
No operator.

CPU ASSIGNED TO PROCESS allows the user to
check on the CPU assigned to the Primary process.
