2-19 SNAX-XF
This is a part of the SNAX family of products available on the NSK platform. SNAX/XF primary lines control and
serve attached SNA peripheral nodes (SNA type 2.0 nodes). This subsystem in OCC helps in managing the LUs’
and PUs’ defined in this subsystem.
2-19-1 OBJECT CLASS: LINE
Policy
Description
Operators Allowed
CPU ASSIGNED TO LINE
CPU ASSIGNED TO LINE allows the user to check on the
CPU to which the Line is assigned. Here, Value 1 is the CPU
number.
• Equal to <value1>
• Not equal to <value1>
LINE IS NOT INUSE LINE IS NOT INUSE allows the user to check if the SNAX
line is free & it is not utilized. If it is not in use, it will be
treated a violation state, otherwise normal.
No operator.
LINE NOT STARTED
LINE NOT STARTED allows the user to check on the SNAX
Line state whether it is started or not. If it is not started, it will
be treated as a violation state, otherwise normal.
No operator.
LUS NOT ACTIVE LUS NOT ACTIVE allows the user to check if Logical Units
are there but not active. If it is not active it will be treated as
a violation stated otherwise normal.
No operator.
LUS NOT DEFINED
In SNA, a port through which an end user accesses the SNA
network to communicate with another end user. A LU
establishes the connections for the transmission of data
between end users in the network. LUs are associated with
either application programs or a device.
This threshold type indicates that if no logical units are
defined for a Line, it will be treated as a violation state.
No operator.
PUS NOT ACTIVE PUS NOT ACTIVE allows the user to check if Physical Units
are defined under Line but not active. If it is not active it will
be treated as violation state.
No operator.
PUS NOT DEFINED
PUS NOT DEFINED allows the user to check if no Physical
Units are defined for Line. If it is not defined it will be
treated as a violation state, otherwise normal.
No operator.
2-19-2 OBJECT CLASS: LU
Policy
Description
Operators Allowed
LU IS NOT ACTIVE
LU IS NOT ACTIVE allows the user to check if Logical Unit is
not active. If it is not active it will be treated as a violation
state, otherwise normal.
No operator.
2-19-3 OBJECT CLASS: PU
Policy
Description
Operators Allowed
PU IS NOT ACTIVE
PU IS NOT ACTIVE allows the user to check the state of PU.
No operator.
