HUNG TRANSACTIONS  Hung transaction is a transaction that cannot be 
successfully aborted. 
If there are hung transactions it is treated as a 
violation.

TMF IS STOPPED 
The Transaction Management Facility, which is the 
major component of the HP NonStop NonStop 
Transaction Manager/MP (TM/MP) product, protects 
databases in online transaction processing 
environments. To furnish this service, TMF subsystem 
manages database transactions, keeps track of 
database activity through audit trails, and provides 
database recovery methods. 
TMF IS STOPPED allows the user to check the TMF 
state. If it is stopped, it is treated as a violation, 
otherwise normal.

TRANSACTION RATE  TRANSACTION RATE allows the user to check the rate 
of transaction processing i.e. the number of 
transactions per second. If transaction rate is not as 
desired by the user, it is treated as violation, otherwise 
normal.

TRANSACTION IS ACTIVE  TRANSACTION IS ACTIVE threshold allows the user to 
check if there is any active transaction in the system. A 
transaction is considered to be active, if it exists for a 
time period greater than the polling interval set under 
the SCHEDULE option..

TRANSACTION IS HUNG 
A HUNG TRANSACTION is a transaction that cannot 
be successfully aborted. This threshold type allows the 
users to check if there are any transactions that cannot 
be successfully aborted. If true, it is treated as a 
violation, otherwise normal. 
No operator. 
NOTE:
 Statistics for TMF/Transactions in will show zero and show that no thresholds have been configured as 
long as there are no transactions that violate the policy.
