This is a commonly used communication protocol and is available on the NSK platform. The counters/modifiers
predefined in this subsystem help manage objects using this protocol.
2-26-1 OBJECT CLASS: LINE
Policy
Description
Operators Allowed
CPU ASSIGNED TO LINE
CPU ASSIGNED TO LINE allows the user to check the
CPU number assigned to the line.
• Equal to <value1>

Not equal to <value1>
LINE IS INUSE LINE IS INUSE allows the user to check the status of the
line. If the line is in use, it will be treated as a violation
state, otherwise normal.
No operator.
LINE IS NOT INUSE
LINE IS NOT INUSE allows the user to check the status
of the line. If the line is not in use, it will be treated as a
violation state, otherwise normal.
No operator.
LINK IS DOWN LINK IS DOWN allows the user to check the status of
the line. If the link state is down, it is treated as a
violation, otherwise normal.
No operator.
LINK IS UP
LINK IS UP allows the user to check the status of the
line. If the link state is up, it is treated as a violation,
otherwise normal.
No operator.
NOT STARTED NOT STARTED allows the user to check the status of the
line. If it is not started, OVNM will treat it as a
violation
state, otherwise normal.
No operator.

Policy

LCN NUMBER
This threshold type allows the user to set an alert on
specified values of the LCN NUMBER for an X25 SU,
for example, when it is greater than zero.

• Less than or equal to <value1>

• Greater than or equal to

than <value2>
