Description
Operators Allowed
FREE EXTENTS
This threshold allows the user to monitor the number of
extents that have not been allocated on a file as yet.
Equal to <value1>
Not equal to <value1>
Less than <value1>
Less than or equal to <value1>
Greater than <value1>
Greater than or equal to <value1>
Greater than <value1> and less than
<value2>
Less than <value1> or greater than
<value2>
INDEX LEVELS
This threshold type allows the user to test the number of
index levels that are in use.
Equal to <value1>
Not equal to <value1>
Less than <value1>
Less than or equal to <value1>
Greater than <value1>
Greater than or equal to <value1>
Greater than <value1> and less than
<value2>
Less than <value1> or greater than
<value2>
LICENSED
This threshold type allows the user to check the LICENSED
bit. For ON the EQUAL TO operator is used and for OFF the
NOT EQUAL TO operator is used.
EQUAL TO
NOT EQUAL TO
MAX EXTENTS MAX EXTENTS allows the user to check on the maximum
number of extents configured for the file. The unit for Value
1 should always be the number of extents configured for the
file.
Equal to <value1>
Not equal to <value1>
Less than <value1>
Less than or equal to <value1>
Greater than <value1>
Greater than or equal to <value1>
Greater than <value1> and less than
<value2>
Less than <value1> or greater than
<value2>
MOD TIME STAMP
This threshold generates alerts based on the modification
timestamp. Using -1 (minus one) with ‘equal’ or ‘not equal’
will cause the application to capture the current timestamp
and use that value when evaluating the threshold. When
using the Greater than option, the value specified in the
<value-1>field will be used to designate the maximum age
in minutes before an alert is generated. So if the value is
60, if the file was not updated within 60 minutes of the poll,
an alert will be generated. This is intended to be used to
detect files that are supposed to be updated on a regular
basis, but are not being updated.
Equal to <value1>
Not equal to <value1>
Greater than <value1>
NBR OF RECORDS
This threshold allows the user to test for the number of
records in a structured (or queue) file. This is NOT supported
for Unstructured files.
Equal to <value1>
Not equal to <value1>
Less than <value1>
Less than or equal to <value1>
Greater than <value1>
Greater than or equal to <value1>
Greater than <value1> and less than
<value2>
Less than <value1> or greater than
<value2>
NEEDS RECOVERY
This threshold tests the CRASHOPEN, CORRUPT, BROKEN
and ROLLFORWARDNEEDED bits. If any of these conditions
are true, it will be considered as a violation.
No operator.
