OVNM 5.3 - Operations Agent for NonStop Object Reference Guide
Threshold Policies 81
2-12 NETBATCH
NetBatch subsystem is used for scheduling, and control systems for batch processing. It takes advantage of the
HP multiprocessor architecture and allows you to run batch operations in a single or in many processors
concurrently.
2-12-1 OBJECT CLASS: SCHEDULER
Policy
Description
Operators Allowed
SCHEDULER IS STARTED
This threshold tells when the scheduler is in the
STARTED state, indicating that both the primary
AND backup scheduler processes are running.
• EQUAL TO
• NOT EQUAL TO
SCHEDULER HAS NO
BACKUP
This threshold tells when the scheduler is running,
but does not have a backup process.
•
EQUAL TO
• NOT EQUAL TO
SCHEDULER IS DOWN
This threshold tells when the scheduler process does
not exist.
• EQUAL TO
• NOT EQUAL TO
SCHEDULER SHUTDOWN This threshold tells when the scheduler is shutting
down.
•
EQUAL TO
• NOT EQUAL TO
SCHEDULER IS ON
This threshold tells when the scheduler is in the
initiated state.
• EQUAL TO
•
  NOT EQUAL TO
SCHEDULER IS OFF This threshold tells when the scheduler is NOT in the
initiated state.
•
EQUAL TO

SCHEDULER NUM EXECS
OFF
This threshold allows user to monitor the number of
executors in the OFF state.
• Equal to <value1>
• Not equal to <value1>
• Less than <value1>
• Less than or equal to <value1>
• Greater than <value1>
• Greater than or equal to <value1>
• Greater than <value1> and less
than <value2>
• Less than <value1> or greater than
<value2>
SCHEDULER NUM EXECS
ON
This threshold allows user to monitor the number of
executors in the ON state.

than <value2>
• Less than <value1> or greater than
<value2>
SCHEDULER NUM EXECS
ACTIVE
This threshold allows user to monitor the number of
executors in the ACTIVE state.
• Equal to <value1>
