Possible Causes: This message box is displayed when you do not select the log file from the Search Results list
using the >> button and send a request to run the query.
Action to be taken: Click on the log file in the Search Results list and select it using the >> button. Click on the
Send Request button to send a request for running the query

Possible Causes: This message box is displayed when the Collector event source is not specified and a request is
sent to run the query.
Action to be taken: Enter a valid search string and click on the Search button to retrieval of all the collectors on the
server. Click on the collectors in the Search Results list and select them using the >> button. Now, click on the
Send Request button to send a request for running the query.

Possible Causes: This message box is displayed when the EMS logfile event source is not specified and a request
is sent to run the query.
Action to be taken: Enter a valid search string and click on the Search button to retrieve all the log files on the
server. Click on the log files in the Search Results list and select them using the >> button. Now click on the Send
Request button to send a request for running the query.

Possible Causes: This message box is displayed when the Start Date Time is not less than the Stop Date Time in the
Query Events dialog box.
Action to be taken: Make sure the Start Date Time is less than the End Date Time and click on the Send Request
button to send a request for running the query
