2-2-1-2 Adding Communication Configuration
The Communication tab page in the New OVNM Configuration dialog box allows you to configure Telnet and
FTP Information.

The different error messages and warnings displayed when adding a new OVNM Configuration related to the
Communication tab page, their causes and the action to be taken are described in the following table.

Possible Causes: This message box is displayed when the Telnet Port field in the Telnet and FTP Information area in
the Communication tab page is left blank or has an invalid value.
Action to be taken: Enter the IP Port used for Telnet session to the Host in the Telnet Port field in the Communication
tab page.

Possible Causes: This message box is displayed when the Telnet Address field in the Telnet and FTP Information
area in the Communication tab page is left blank or has an invalid value.
Action to be taken: Enter the Address used for Telnet access to the NonStop Server in the Telnet and FTP
Information area in the Communication tab page.
