2-2-1-13 Errors When Deleting HP NonStop Host
The Delete button in the OVNM Host Installation Client dialog box allows you to delete an existing host
configuration. You can select the Delete From Workstation, Delete From Host or Delete From Both menu options to
delete the host configuration from a workstation, host or both, respectively.

The error message displayed when deleting configuration from the host, its cause and the action to be taken is
described in the following table.

Possible Causes: The OVNM Host Response for Deleting Configuration dialog box shows the error “CONNECT
FAILED FOR IP ADDRESS” when Host Installation Client is unable to connect to the IP address specified in the IP
Address field in the Host tab page.
Action to be taken: Enter the correct Host IP address in the IP Address field in the Host tab page and delete the
configuration again.
