The different error messages and warnings displayed when starting agents, their causes and the action to be
taken are described in the following table.

Possible Causes: Clicking on the Start Agent button in the OVNM Host Management Client dialog box displays the
Login to Host dialog box. The OVNM Host Response for Starting Agent dialog box shows the error “Invalid
username or password” when the user name or password provided in the Login to Host dialog box is invalid.
Action to be taken: Enter the correct user name and password in the User Name and Password field respectively in
the Login to Host dialog box.

Possible Causes: The OVNM Host Response for Starting Agent dialog box shows the error “Please RUN
STOPOVNM and then re-RUN STRTOVNM” when the OVNM agents are already running.
Action to be taken: The OVNM agents are already running so there is no need to run the Start Agents command.
