Possible Causes: The OVNM Host Response for Starting Agent dialog box shows the error “Expecting the
name of an existing file” when the Host Management Client is unable to find the STRTOVNM utility in the
specified location.
Action to be taken: To run the STRTOVNM utility it should be available in the volume.subvolume where OVNM
is installed. Switch to the volume.subvolume where OVNM has been installed and check whether the
STRTOVNM utility exists.
