Possible Causes: The OVNM Host Response for Stopping Agent dialog box shows the error “Expecting the
name of an existing file” when the Host Management Client is unable to find the STOPOVNM file in the
specified location.
Action to be taken: To run the STOPOVNM utility, it should be installed in the volume.subvolume where OVNM
is installed. Switch to the volume.subvolume where OVNM has been installed and check whether the
STOPOVNM utility exists.

Possible Causes: The OVNM Host Response for Stopping Agent dialog box shows the error “Insufficient
privilege” when the user name or password provided in the Login to Host dialog box does not have the
required privileges to stop agents.
Action to be taken: Enter the user name and password which was used to start the agents in the User Name and
Password field in the Login to Host dialog box.
