3-2-6 Errors When Collecting OVNM Agent Information on NonStop Server
The Collect Info utility in the Host Management Client is used to gather detailed information of the OVNM
environment on the HP NonStop node and save the information in the form of file(s), which may be helpful in
diagnosing problems with the OVNM agent on the HP NonStop Host.

The different error messages and warnings displayed when using the Collect Info utility, their causes and the
action to be taken are described in the following table.

Possible Causes: Clicking on the Collect Info option in the OVNM Host Management Client Tools menu displays the
Login to Host dialog box. The OVNM Host Response for Collecting Information of Agent dialog box shows the error
“Invalid username or password” when the user name or password provided in the Login to Host dialog
box is invalid.
Action to be taken: Enter the correct user name and password in the User Name and Password field respectively in
the Login to Host dialog box.
