Possible Causes: The To box in the Mail tab page can accept 240 characters. This message box is displayed when
the characters in the To box exceed this limit.
Action to be taken: Specify the e-mail addresses, profile names or the distribution list to whom the alerts should be
sent in the To box in not more than 240 characters. Enter the information in the remaining fields in the Mail tab
page in the Actions dialog box and click on the OK button to save the required settings.

Possible Causes: The Mail on Violation check box is used to enable e-mail escalations in case of a violation
whereas the Mail on Normal check box is used to enable e-mail alerts when the object in violation returns to its
normal state. This message box is displayed when the Subject box is left blank in the Mail tab page in the Actions
dialog box.
Action to be taken: Specify the subject for the e-mail in the Subject box. Enter the information in the remaining fields
in the Mail tab page in the Actions dialog box and click on the OK button to save the required settings.

Possible Causes: The Repeat Count box allows you to specify the number of e-mail messages to be sent in case of a
violation. This message box is displayed when the Repeat Count field is left blank.
Action to be taken: Specify the Repeat Count in the range of 1 to 32767. Enter the information in the remaining
fields in the Mail tab page in the Actions dialog box and click on the OK button to save the required settings.
