4-2-7 Creating Threshold Configurations
The Threshold dialog box is used to create a new threshold configuration in OCC. You can access the Threshold
dialog box by clicking on the New Configuration option in the Threshold menu.

The different error messages and warnings displayed when creating threshold configurations, their causes and
the actions to be taken are described in the following table.

Possible Causes: This message box is displayed when the Object field in the Threshold dialog box is left blank. This
field is not available for the following thresholds:
• EMS
• OSS
• PROCESS
• PLUGPLAY
• TCPIP
• TMF
Action to be taken: Specify the object name in the Object field. You can either type in the object name or select
from the list of the entries already made. Wildcard characters are allowed for most of the subsystems.
