2-1 Consolidating Your Business Environment
HP Operations Manager provides a complete management view of your enterprise, which include:
• Enterprise Applications: Like ZLE business applications.
• Infrastructure Applications: Like Web servers, Transaction servers and Database servers.
• System Infrastructure: Like Resources, Hardware, Network and Security.
OVNPM is an integrated set of modules used to monitor the Performance of HP NonStop server. OVNPM is
integrated with both OVNM and HP Operations Manager.
With OVNPM, the central HP Operations console along with OVNM offers a consolidated view of the NonStop
environment that enables you to act proactively on critical events and messages. This consolidated view is both
intuitive and cost-effective as the central end-user interface provides the basis for a true service level based
management.
