1-1 What is OVNPM?
HP Performance Agent for NonStop (OVNPM) is the performance and capacity management solution for HP
NonStop® Servers. OVNPM is used for real-time system monitoring, trending and in-depth analysis to solve
performance problems.
OVNPM provides extended capabilities of HP NonStop MEASURE product for real-time monitoring, performance
analysis and capacity planning. Providing easy and safe access to production data by all groups involved in HP
NonStop operations and support, OVNPM offers an out-of-the-box solution for business critical event
management.
As a real-time and trend monitoring software, HP OVNPM provides rich features to manage HP NonStop servers.
Providing comprehensive and robust manageability features along with web browser support for monitoring
critical events, HP OVNPM offers a highly flexible solution that allows measurement of your service level
standards and planning for future business needs.
HP OVNPM software includes components installed on both the HP NonStop server and either a Windows
workstation or Management server.
HP OVNPM product provides both a solid standalone solution, and integration with HP Operations Manager or
HP Operations Manager Reporter products.
