16-1 What is SystemCloseup? 
SystemCloseup is a tool for capturing detailed performance information for analysis. 
For details, refer to Appendix C: OVNPM Metrics in the OVNPM Server Guide. 
With SystemCloseup you can focus attention on a particular entity over a discrete period of time. You can 
measure behavior for activities taking place on the entity along with the affects of related system activities. The 
entity can be a CPU, a file, a process, or a disk. 
SystemCloseup captures detailed data and builds a report that you can print or export to another program, such 
as a spreadsheet. 
16-2 Opening SystemCloseup 
Follow the steps below for Opening Systemcloseup: 
1.  Click on the SystemCloseup icon on the Status bar.

2.  This action can also be performed using the SystemCloseup option in the Display Adapter Tools menu. 
3.  The Expert Mode dialog box is displayed. Type the password to access the expert mode and click on the 
OK button. This displays the SystemCloseup window.

4.  From the Scan menu, select the domain of the entity that you want to observe. 
You have the following domain choices: 
•  CPU 
•  Process 
•  Disc 
•  File
