Step 3: To request information, enter the parameter values associated with the selected link.
1. Select the Node using the Node Field.
2. Use the Disk Selection Field to select a disk and all its files.
To select disks, you can enter the following characters as wildcards:
• $*.*.* selects all disks
• $[characters]* selects all disks with a name that begins with [characters]
• $*[characters] selects all disks with a name that ends with [characters]
• $diskname selects a specific disk
• To select files, use a valid file-name pattern in the selection box. A valid file-name pattern can contain *
and ? characters.
3. Use the Top Field to limit the number of returned files (from 10 to 200).
4. Select or clear the refresh interval using the Refresh Field.
5. Click on the Submit button.
This returns the requested information.

NOTE: Sometimes Navigator may display the message "Top-Files Function was Disabled on this node.” To
enable Top Files function, you will have to edit the DCPRM file. The DCPRM file can be found in the
OVPMCFG subvolume in the OVNPM backend. In the Top Files section, set the TopFilesFlag = 1. This will
enable Top Files functionality for Navigator.
