2-6-1 Process Transition 
The Process Transition activity detects the following transitions. 
CpuLoop 
Detects any process that is using excessive CPU time and whose priority is falling CpuLoop 
processes are designated by the symbol  . 
MemLoop 
Detects processes that are acquiring excessive memory pages 
MemLoop processes are designated by the symbol 
 . 
NewProcess  
Detects the latest started processes. New processes are designated by the symbol 
ProcessEnd 
Detects the end of processes. End of processes are designated by the symbol 
. 
StChange 
Detects a state change of processes between the following states: DebugBreakpoint. 
DebugRequest. DebugTrap. InspectBreakpoint. InspectMemBreakpoint. InspectRequest. 
InspectTrap. Runnable. Saveabend. Starting. Suspend. Terminating. Unallocated. Processes 
with a state change are designated by the symbol 
UsrChange 
Detects process owner change, such as logon and logoff. Processes with an owner change 
are designated by the symbol   
Viewing Process Transition 
Step 1: Click on the Events menu option on the Navigator. This displays the Events page.
