Node A single HP NonStop Server is referred to as a Node.
Netline Domain NETLINE represents the individual EXPAND communication lines.
Navigator Navigator is an OVNPM component that enables you to analyze critical system
performance information on a microscopic level, in real-time mode. It monitors CPU
usage, applications, processes, and devices.

Pathway The PATHWAY domain represents the individual PATHWAY applications that are
executing on the HP NonStop host

Server A process or application which provides some service to other (client) process or
application.
A Server is also a computer or a mainframe running one or more applications.
Subvolume File names within the same volume that have a common middle part are treated as a
logical group of files or a subvolume.
SystemReport SystemReport shows detailed data in tabular reports that complement the graphic
displays of SystemInsight. SystemReport is the tool you use to analyze data that was
used to calculate a graphic display.
SystemInsight SystemInsight is the OVNPM component, which displays current system information
in easy to understand graphical displays. The displays are called views, which are a
collection of related system metrics that are displayed together.
Subsystem A subsystem is a process or group of related processes that controls a set of related
objects. A typical NonStop Kernel subsystem controls objects such as lines, circuits,
or terminals.
Servernet Domain Servernet represents physical I/O operations involving Servernet
addressable controllers (SACs). OVNPM supports Servernet adapter class NIOC,
IPC and SCSI.
Spooler Domain SPOOLER represents the individual spooler subsystems
SystemTrend SystemTrend is OVNPM’s trend analysis tool. With SystemTrend patterns of usage
over broad periods of time can be observed. You can analyze past performance
patterns to help in capacity planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and problem
diagnosis.
SystemAlert SystemAlert is the OVNPM alarm system. The alarms displayed by SystemAlert
complement the real-time supervision capability provided by supervision
dashboards.
SystemCloseup SystemCloseup is an OVNPM tool for capturing detailed performance information
for analysis. With SystemCloseup you can focus attention on a particular entity over
a discrete period of time. You can measure behavior for activities taking place on
the entity along with the affects of related system activities. The entity can be a CPU,
a file, a process, or a disk.
SystemAccounting The SystemAccounting feature provides access to detailed information concerning
disk and spooler usage reports. You can observe usage by groups or by individual
users within groups.
