2-3 Installing OVNPM Server Components

This section covers the procedure to install OVNPM NonStop Server components on a Windows workstation. To

help you with the installation process, it is recommended that you fill out the Installation Information form.

Refer to Appendix A: Installation Information before installing.

Step A: Starting Up

1. Insert the installation CD in the CD-ROM drive.

2. From the Start menu, select Run.

3. In the Run dialog box, type D:\OVNPMServerInstallation.exe (Substitute the appropriate letter of your CD-

ROM drive for D with whatever applicable).

4. Follow the instructions on the screen.

NOTE: Accessing the root directory of the CD and double clicking on the OVNPMServerInstallation.exe file

can also start the installation process.

Install Shield prepares the Setup program for use and the OVNPM Server Installation Welcome screen is

displayed.

Click on the Next button to continue with the Setup program.
