3-4 NonStop Host Configuration
Clicking on the New button in the OVNPM Host Installation Client displays the Host Configuration tab page of
the New OVNPM Configuration dialog box.
This tab page defines how to access the HP NonStop Host to create a new OVNPM Environment.

Enter the following information in the various fields available:
Node Name
The name of the HP NonStop Server where OVNPM Server components will be installed, proceeded by
a “\”. For example: \NODE.
IP Address
IP Address of the HP Nonstop server.
User ID
The Guardian user ID, Guardian user name or alias that will be used to logon to the HP Nonstop
Server. The user ID is the installer ID.
Password
Password for the guardian User ID or alias that will be used to logon to the HP Nonstop Server.
Telnet Port
The IP port that will be used for Telnet session to the Nonstop Server. The default value is “23”.
FTP Port
The IP port that will be used for FTP session to the Nonstop Server. The default value is “21”.
Service Available
Use this area to select the service to be used to logon to a Nonstop Server. You can select TACL or
specify any other service.
