3-5 Defining the OVNPM Environment
The OVNPM Configuration tab and the OVNPM Processes Configuration tab can be used to set the OVNPM
environment.
Click on the OVNPM Configuration tab in the New OVNPM Configuration dialog box to configure the OVNPM
environment. This displays the OVNPM Configuration tab page.

Enter the following information in the various fields in the OVNPM Information area.
• OVNPM Key
OVNPM key is the product license key for the OVNPM Host components.
NOTE: In case you do not specify the Product Key, a 60-day temporary key is automatically generated by the
system. Permanent keys can be acquired by contacting the appropriate HP product support.
• Navigator Port
The port used for communication by Navigator. The default value is “5001”.
• Display Port
The IP port used for communication between the NonStop Host and the OVNPM workstation components.
The default value is “5000”.
• Transport Port
The transport port used by OVNPM. The default value is “5004”.
• Process Prefix
The three character prefix (including ‘$’) for all the OVNPM Host component processes. The default value is
“$OO”.
• TCPIP Transport processes available
Select one of the TCPIP transport processes, which will be used by the installation process. For example:
$ZTC0.
