• Home Terminal
The Home Terminal for the OVNPM Host processes. For S-Series systems, home terminal can be $ZHOME.
• Alert Outs
Specify the list of EMS collectors, for example $0 or any other alternate collector or a list of files where the
alerts will be forwarded. Only four Alert Outs can be defined.
Enter the following information in the various fields in the OVNPM Subvolumes Information area.
• Volumes available
Select the volume, which will be used for installation.
NOTE: It is not recommended to use the $SYSTEM volume for installing OVNPM server components. This
might adversely affect the HP NonStop server performance.
• Installation Subvolume
The subvolume in which all the installation files are extracted.
• TACL Subvolume
The subvolume that contains the OVNPM environment and all the TACL subroutines and macros.
• EXE Subvolume
The subvolume with all the OVNPM executables.
• Log Subvolume
The subvolume where the OVNPM log files will be stored.
• Config Subvolume
The subvolume where all the OVNPM configuration settings are stored.
• Source Subvolume
The subvolume for source and sample files.
• Temp Subvolume
The subvolume to store temporary data.
• Data Subvolume
The subvolume to store OVNPM data.
NOTE: It is recommended to use the same volume for all the OVNPM subvolumes.
