Click on the OVNPM Processes Configuration tab in the New OVNPM Configuration dialog box to define
OVNPM processes environment. This displays the OVNPM Processes Configuration tab page.

The OVNPM Processes Configuration tab page can be used to specify the Process Name, Priority, Primary CPU,
and the Backup CPU for the various OVNPM processes.
The various OVNPM processes are:
• NonStop Pathway
Provides OVNPM Fault Tolerance. Refer to section 5.4 for details.
• Collect Manager
The Collect Manager manages the Basic Collector and builds aggregate counters.
• Basic Collector
The Basic Collector is the collector process that collects entities on different CPUs.
• Database Server
The Database Server or DBS manages the OVNPM database.
• Trend
Trend reads trend data to build daily and monthly data.
• Correlation
This process is used by the OVNPM Display Agent to compare, correlate, & display matrix data.
• Database Reader
DBR or Database Reader reads OVNPM database for data extraction.
