• Display Server
The Display Server is the process that forwards the messages from the HP NonStop servers to the
designated output devices.
• Extra Reader
The extra reader provides real-time monitoring function RTMF. These functions can be accessed from the
Display Agent Tools menu.
• Display TCPIP Server
The Display TCPIP Server manages TCPIP connection with the Display Agent.
• Low Level Protocol
The Low Level Protocol manages the asynchronous connection (serial RS232C) with the Display Agent.
• Extra Filescan
Provides the File scanning, File Count and File Availability functions.
• SNMP Sub Agent
It converts EMS logs to SNMP traps. By configuring it, we can send alerts to an application that can
process SNMP traps. For example: HP NNM.
• Navigator
The HTTP server for OVNPM.
• Navigator TCPIP Server
Manages the TCPIP connection between the Navigator and a web browser.
• Transport TCPIP Server
Manages the Transport connection.
