The utility prompts you to confirm the locations where OVNPM files will be installed. Enter Y to use the
default locations, V to change the volume, and S to change the subvolume. Type X to exit the installation
utility.
Using the Default Locations: To use the default locations as displayed on the screen, type Y at the
command prompt.
Y
Changing the Volume: To change the volume where the OVNPM installation files will be generated,
type V and confirm the entry.
NOTE: By default, all the subvolumes are created on the same disk. We recommend accepting the default. If,
however, the user wants to split the OVNPM product among different disks, it is done manually after the
generation by moving the subvolumes and by editing the VISLOAD file.
Changing the Subvolume: To change the four-letter subvolume prefix where the OVNPM installation
files will be generated, type S. Enter the prefix when prompted and confirm the entry.
NOTE: By default, all the subvolumes names are terminated by TACL or TAC, EXE, CFG and SRC. We
recommend using the default. If, however, the user wants to change the default, it is done after the generation
by editing the environment variable values in the VISLOAD file.
3. The next step is to change the OVNPM process name prefix. The default prefix is $O. To use the default
prefix, type Y. To specify a new prefix, which should be maximum of two characters including $, type P. In
order to rename any of the listed OVNPM processes, type N.
The installation process is completed with the display of certain messages. You need to execute the following
steps to complete the installation.

NOTE: In case of a manual upgrade/update, OVNPM needs a rebuild only if new Metrics or Domain
definitions are installed.
