5-2 Upgrading OVNPM Components on HP NonStop Server
The Upgrade button on the OVNPM Host Installation Client is used to perform a full software release upgrade or
update.
Before you start the upgrade process, stop OVNPM using the Stop OVNPM button in the OVNPM Host
Management Client.

A.Upgrade Release: The Upgrade Release option allows you to perform a full software release upgrade.
B. Update: This option allows you to update the software with a new patch or fix. Clicking on this option displays
the OVNPM Host Installation Client Message box with the date when the OVNPM product key will expire.
After the process is completed, you can start the OVNPM environment using the Start OVNPM button in the
OVNPM Host Management Client.
