8-5 Starting OVNPM Subsystem

Use the following command to start the OVNPM Subsystem.

$DATA01.N105TACL 17> sv_start subsys

OVNPM 1.5.0 (aakv).

Starting Nonstop Application Manager.

Updating Nonstop Application Manager configuration.

NonStop mode enabled.

Starting Nonstop OVNPM core.

Starting Nonstop System Navigator (sn).

core uses port 5000 for display agent connections.

core uses port 5004 for pmTransport connections.

sn uses port 5001 for web browser connections.

Notice the Display Agent TCP/IP port is 5000, and the Navigator port 5001is for the web browser, and the

pmTransport port is 5004.

This function can also be performed using the Start OVNPM button on the Host Management Client console.

Command sv_start or sv_start subsys starts all configured applications in OVNPM. In Other words, the DSV and

DSN applications are also started, if configured.
