8-7 Stopping OVNPM Subsystem
The command sv_stop subsys stops all OVNPM applications in an orderly manner.
8-8 Troubleshooting Procedure
The sv_status and sv_messages are the first commands to be executed when a problem occurs.
Sometime the recovery is not obvious. In this case, maintenance command sv_info_report should be used. It
will create four “SV*FIL” files in the OVNPM Log subvolume. These files contain system information, OVNPM
log file, environment and configuration.
A pak archive including the sv*fil and the last save abend files should be performed.
Support can make fast diagnostics based on the information in the files and provide the recovery action.
