SystemAlert and Event Messages
Event Management System (EMS) messages are generated by OVNPM, which can send these messages to
SystemAlert or to third parties.
System Alert
The system creates alert when a thresholds violation occurs. System alert thresholds are defined on instances
added in the USERCFG file. The alert number from system alert is “100 + domainId”.
For example disc domain id is 1, so alls alert number from any disc thresholds will be 101.

OVNPM performance alert range 100-199 have additional user define token 18880768. This
additional token is being utilized to create the unique keys for the performance alerts. For normal performance
alerts, this token can trigger the auto acknowledgement of the already logged violation alerts that matches t

key.
