NOTE:
The Mandatory flag “*” shows the tasks to be perform before starting the OVNPM server. In the
sample menu
above, the Basic collector was not licensed during the installation process.
Choosing a Default Editor (Optional)
After installation, you may want to change certain configuration and parameter files from the standard defaults.
You can specify the system editor you want OVNPM to use for modifications. If no editor is specified, OVNPM
defaults to EDIT.
To specify the default System Editor, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Start the Configuration utility and select the Choose EDIT or TEDIT editor Enter option from the menu by
typing 1 as your choice.
Step 2: OVNPM displays the current editor selection. To change the default editor, enter the code corresponding
to your choice of editor from the table below. The following editors are available:

Step 3: To confirm the selection, press Enter and return to the Configuration Utility menu.
