Object Types
The PAM object types are described in detail in Section 2, Introduction. For detailed
information about the TLAM object types, see the TLAM Programming Manual.
PORT Yes Yes Both subsystems provide these port

Only the TLAM subsystem provides
these port types:
SNAP
IPX8022

TR8025
In PAM, the TR8025 port type is part of
the LLC1 interface.
MSAP Yes Yes Both subsystems provide a SNATR
object. The SNATR object defines the
MSAP that allows a SNAX/XF or
SNAX/APN process to connect to a
token-ring LAN.
The TLAM subsystem also provides a
NAM object that defines the MSAP that
allows an Expand line-handler process
to connect to an Ethernet LAN; the PAM
subsystem does not.
