C SCF Error Messages
This appendix lists the error messages that SCF can return for PAM and describes the
cause and recovery for each error.
00001
Cause. A DELETE command was received while the object still had subordinate
objects configured.
Recovery. Specify the SUB ALL modifier or otherwise stop subordinate objects before
attempting to delete this object.
00002
Cause. A STOP or an ABORT command was received for an object with subordinates
not in the STOPPED state.
Recovery. Specify the SUB ALL modifier and try again.
00003
Cause. The START command was received while the superior object was in the
STOPPED state.
Recovery. Start the superior object and try again.
00004
Cause. The CPU of the current primary PAM process is specified as the target CPU
for the SWITCH command.
Recovery. Specify the alternate CPU.
PAM 00001 Cannot delete object because subordinate object is
not deleted.
PAM 00002 Cannot stop object because subordinate object is
not stopped.
PAM 00003 Cannot start object because superior objects still
in Stopped state.
PAM 00004 Cannot switch because specified CPU is already
primary CPU for object.
