DELETE Command
DELETE Command
The DELETE command is a sensitive command that removes objects from the
subsystem. Only objects that were added with the ADD command can be deleted.
DELETE PORT Command
The DELETE PORT command removes the specified port from the PAM subsystem.
Command Syntax
OUT file-spec
directs any SCF output generated for this command to the specified file.
port-name
is the name of the port.
Consideration
Objects must be in the STOPPED summary state before the DELETE command can
be used.
Example
This example deletes #PORT1 from $PAMA:
-> DELETE PORT $PAMA.#PORT1
DELETE [ /OUT file-spec/ ] PORT port-name
