PAM Management Programming Manual
Abstract
This manual provides information about the programming interface provided by Tandem
for managing the Port Access Method (PAM) subsystem. This interface is based on the
Subsystem Programmatic Interface (SPI) and the Event Management Service (EMS).
This manual is written for experienced application programmers.

This manual supports G06.01 and all subsequent G-series releases until otherwise
indicated in a new edition.

Section 1, Introduction, has been changed to clarify terms.
Table 1-2, SCF Commands and Programmatic Commands,
on page 1-12 has been
corrected to include additional commands.
Table 4-1, ZPAM Standard Definitions Used in Event Messages,
on page 4-12 contains
changes to some of the token names as do the associated definitions following the table.
Section 6, Event Messages
has changed; all event messages are renumbered and there
are some new event messages.
The summary of tokens has changed; see Appendix B, Token Codes and Token Maps
.
