Operational Notes
There are a number of things you should remember when using the STATUS command:
The PORT object returns a ZPAM-TKN-OBJ-SUBTYPE token in each response.
The object subtype values are
ZPAM-VAL-PORT-TYPE-ENET
ZPAM-VAL-PORT-TYPE-LLC1
ZPAM-VAL-PORT-TYPE-LLC2
You can use the ZCOM-TKN-SUB token to obtain status information for the
specified object and/or its subordinate objects, if any. The acceptable values for this
token are as follows:
ZCOM-VAL-SUB-ALL
returns status information for the specified object and its subordinate objects, if
any.
ZCOM-VAL-SUB-NONE
returns status information for the specified object, but not for subordinate
objects.
ZCOM-VAL-SUB-ONLY
returns status information for the subordinate objects, but not the specified
object.
You can use the ZCOM-TKN-SEL-SUMSTATE token to obtain status information
for only those objects that are currently in a specified summary state.
You can use both the ZCOM-TKN-SUB and the ZCOM-TKN-SEL-SUMSTATE
tokens, in combination, to obtain status information for only those objects and/or
subordinate objects that are currently in a specified summary state.
There is no summary state transition associated with the STATUS command.
The ZPAM-VAL-PORT-TYPE-ENET subtype is invalid for the Token-Ring
ServerNet adapter (TRSA).
The ZPAM-VAL-PORT-TYPE-LLC2 subtype is invalid for the Ethernet 4
ServerNet adapter (E4SA).
