6: ZPAM-ERR-LIF-DOWN

A START LINE, STATUS SESSION, or STATS SESSION command was issued when

the LIF was down.

Tokens

ZSPI-TKN-ERROR

is the standard SPI error token, as described in the SPI Programming Manual. Its

value consists of the PAM subsystem ID (SSID) and the error number ZPAM-ERR-

LIF-DOWN. This token is always present in the error list.

ZCOM-TKN-OBJNAME

is the object name on which the error occurred in the command. This token is

always present in the error list, and it is described in Section 4, Common

Definitions.

ZCOM-TKN-OBJTYPE

is the object type provided with the command on which the error occurred. Its

possible values are ZCOM-OBJ-LINE and ZCOM-OBJ-SESSION. This token is

always present in the error list, and it is described in the SPI Common Extensions

Manual.

Probable Cause

The LIF associated with the PAM process was down when the command was issued.

Recommended Action

Start the associated LIF and reissue the command.
