Object Types
The following data communications standard definitions for object types are used by the
PAM subsystem:
ZCOM-OBJ-LINE
ZCOM-OBJ-MSAP
ZCOM-OBJ-NULL
ZCOM-OBJ-PORT
ZCOM-OBJ-PROCESS
ZCOM-OBJ-SESSION
The following information about these definitions is specific to the PAM subsystem:
ZCOM-OBJ-NULL
does not represent a PAM object. It is used as the object type in commands that do
not require an object-name token. Only the LISTOBJECTS command accepts the
NULL object.
Event Management Service (EMS) Standard
Definitions
Definitions whose names begin with ZEMS- are EMS standard definitions. These
definitions are available to all subsystems that support EMS and can be found in the
ZSPIDEF.ZEMSDDL file and in the corresponding files for other languages.
Descriptions of EMS standard definitions as they apply to all subsystems are given in
the EMS Manual. Information about these definitions that is specific to the PAM
subsystem is given in the following subsections.
The EMS standard definitions used by the PAM subsystem consist of the following:
•
Simple tokens
•
Header tokens
•
Token types
This section does not list EMS error numbers or definitions used only in error lists.
For a description of all EMS standard definitions, refer to the EMS Manual.
