Invalid Embedded SQL value — please reenter
Cause. You attempted to enter a value other than Y or N into the Embedded SQL field
of the Service Definition screen.
Issued by the Pathmaker product.
Effect. Update fails.
Recovery. Change the value to either Y or N and retry the operation.
Invalid field type (FILLER, REDEFINES, 66, or 88): field-name
Cause. You specified an invalid field type as a link field in the Record Instance Detail
screen or as a field name in the SEND Parameter Definition screen.
Issued by the Pathmaker product.
Effect. Update fails.
Recovery. Change the field name so that it refers to a valid field type, or change the
DDL description of this field to a valid field type.
Invalid file name in ASSIGN parameter
Cause. You entered an incorrect ASSIGN file name parameter in the PATHSVRS file.
Issued by the generated application.
Effect. SQL standard server stops.
Recovery. Use the Pathway PATHCOM command, ALTER SERVER, to enter the
correct ASSIGN file name parameter, then restart the SQL standard server.
Refer to the Pathway PATHCOM Reference Manual for more information about the
ALTER SERVER command.
Invalid file name: name
Cause. The name in the message does not follow the format for a legal file name.
Issued by the Pathmaker product.
Effect. Requester generation fails.
Recovery. Correct the file name and regenerate.
