Action Object allowed only for CALL, SEND, and RETN actions
Cause. You specified a requester name or service name for an action that does not
allow an object. This condition is normally detected when you attempt to update the
Function Key Assignments screen.
Issued by the Pathmaker product and by PMADL.
Effect. Requester generation fails.
Recovery. Note this error message and contact your Tandem representative. In the
meantime, you can make a copy of the requester and try to change the offending
function key assignment.
Action object name is a COBOL reserved word: invalid-name
Cause. You attempted to enter an object name in the Requester/Service Name field of
the Function Key Assignments screen for the SEND operation that is a COBOL
reserved word.
Issued by the Pathmaker product and by PMADL.
Effect. Update fails.
Recovery. Reenter the object name, avoiding COBOL reserved words. Refer to the Data
Management Reference Summary for a list of reserved words for Pathway, DDL, Screen
COBOL, COBOL85, and Enform.

Cause. You attempted to enter an object name in the Requester/Service Name field of
the Function Key Assignments screen for the CALL/RETN operation that is a Screen
COBOL reserved word.
