Cause. You used an invalid number.
Issued by PMADL.
Effect. The object description containing the invalid numeric value is not stored in the
current catalog.
Recovery. Correct the numeric value.
Numeric DB error
Cause. Requester error issued by the generated application. A numeric (not comp)
item on the screen was returned from the server without a numeric value.
Effect. The item is set to zero and highlighted. The cursor is placed at the first
highlighted item on the first page with an error.
Recovery. Check the item in the database for possible corruption and check the service.
Object file error file-error-num
Cause. Pathmaker encountered a file system error while trying to create or open the
object file.
Issued by the Pathmaker product.
Effect. Server generation fails.
Recovery. For further information on the specific file error you encountered, refer to
the Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages Manual.
Object file, illegal process subtype: new-process-name
Cause. Refer to the discussion of process subtypes under NEWPROCESS in the
Guardian Procedure Calls Reference Manual.
Issued by the Pathmaker product.
Effect. New Process startup fails.
Recovery. Recompile or rebind with the correct process subtype declared.
