Printer not ready
Cause. The printer you specified requires attention, for example, it is in a NOT READY
state.
Print error issued by the generated application.
Effect. Print fails.
Recovery. Check the printer to see why it is not accepting jobs. Fix the problem and
retry the operation or see your system manager.
Printer not supported
Cause. You attempted a print operation to an unsupported printer or the printer needs
system manager attention.
Print error issued by the generated application.
Effect. Print fails.
Recovery. Check the Pathway configuration for the type of printer specified. Correct
printer type and retry the operation.
If the printer needs attention, contact your system administrator or system manager.
Process abended — new-process
Cause. The named process completed abnormally. Any termination diagnostic from
the process was displayed for 5 seconds prior to the full screen interface being
displayed. new-process can be on of the following:
C COBOL Enform SCOBOL
SQLCOBOL DDL FUP SCUP
SQLCOMP EDIT Peruse SQLCI
Issued by the Pathmaker product.
Effect. The new process did not complete successfully.
Recovery. The recovery is dependent on the process and the termination diagnostic.
