Cause. You requested an action, such as Add or Delete, that Pathmaker cannot
perform without a record name.
Issued by the Pathmaker product and by PMADL.
Effect. Action fails.
Recovery. Enter the record name in the Record Name field and press the appropriate
function key again.
Record not found
Cause. The record you tried to read does not exist in the database.
Issued by the generated application.
Effect. Read operation fails.
Recovery. This is an advisory message. No recovery is needed.
Redefine item not allowed: redefine-item
Cause. You attempted to add a REDEFINES item to the Display Field List.
Issued by the Pathmaker product.
Effect. Add fails.
Recovery. No recovery. You cannot display a redefined field; you can only display the
field that it redefines.
Redefines not supported: Parameter RefObj-Name.Field-Name to
Action-Object
Cause. You attempted to include a parameter field that is a redefined item in the DDL
definition for this reference object. Pathmaker does not support REDEFINES in the
generated requester.
Issued by the Pathmaker product and by PMADL.
Effect. Requester generation fails.
Recovery. Rewrite the DDL so that the definition does not use a REDEFINES clause
and regenerate.
