Cause. You attempted to enter an invalid point field name.
Issued by the Pathmaker product.
Effect. The Screen Painter did not add or modify the point field.
Recovery. Enter a valid point field name.
Point field names can be from 1 to 30 alphanumeric or hyphen (-) characters, excluding
all other special characters such as pound sign (#) and dollar sign ($). A point field
name must begin with a letter and cannot end with a hyphen.
This field must contain a legal pseudofield name
Cause. You entered an invalid pseudofield name.
Issued by the Pathmaker product.
Effect. The Screen Painter did not add or modify the pseudofield.
Recovery. Enter a valid pseudofield name. You can display the following pseudofields
on the application screen:
@ADVISORY @LOGICAL-TERMINAL
@CURRENT-PAGE @PAGE-COUNT
@DATE @TIME
This field must contain a legal, qualified name
Cause. You attempted to enter a syntactically invalid, qualified name as the reference
field for a data field.
Issued by the Pathmaker product.
Effect. Operation canceled.
Recovery. Enter a syntactically correct, qualified name. A qualified name consists of
one or more elementary names, separated by dots (.). Each elementary name can have
from 1 to 30 alphanumeric and hyphen (-) characters. The first character must be a
letter, and the last character must be a letter or number. The first elementary name
must identify a reference object and can be followed by a repetition subscript, which is
an unsigned number in square brackets ([]).
