Too many SQL Table DEFINEs were specified
Cause. You supplied too many DEFINEs to the SQL standard server.
Issued by the generated application.
Effect. The SQL standard server will not run.
Recovery. You can either reduce the number of DEFINEs the SQL standard server
receives, by reducing the number of tables it must access, or you can change the
Pathway parameter that sets the maximum number of DEFINEs.
If this problem persists, contact your Tandem representative.
Trans mode violation; Send to
server-class
Cause. A SEND to a server not using the TMF software was attempted while the
terminal was in transaction mode.
SEND error issued by the generated application.
Effect. SEND fails.
Recovery. Configure server class with the TMF software.
Transaction mode violation; In
called-program
Cause. Screen COBOL had an error on a SEND and the SEND had no ON ERROR
clause, for example, a server reply is too small or there are I/O errors to the server.
CALL error issued by the generated application.
Effect. TCP suspends the program.
Recovery. Add an ON ERROR clause to the SEND and also check the program to see if
there is anything else wrong that would cause the problem.
Transaction restart has failed after
number
attempts.
Cause. The TMF transaction has failed repeatedly.
Requester error issued by the generated application.
Effect. Operation fails.
Recovery. Retry the operation. Consult the Pathway error log file. Note the error and
contact operations.
