Unable to update ACTIVE file, error: error
Cause. The active terminal file must keep track of the processes open by this user. The
file cannot be updated so the new process has been abended.
Issued by the Pathmaker product.
Effect. New process startup fails.
Recovery. Check the security of $SYSTEM.PATHMAKR.ACTIVE or ACTIVE0.
Unable to write ACTIVE record, error: error code
Cause. The Pathmaker program encountered a file system error when attempting to
write an active terminal record for your session to the ACTIVE file in the Pathmaker
installation subvolume.
Issued by the Pathmaker product.
Effect. Pathmaker startup fails.
Recovery. Correct the condition indicated by the error. If necessary, contact your
system manager.
Unable to write records to temporary file — insufficient space
Cause. The requester context project catalog file, DICTRRO, maintains a sequence
number for each reference object in the requester context. The sequence numbers are
used to maintain the order in which you entered the requester context list. If you
insert enough new items between two existing items on the requester context list, the
Pathmaker product must copy the entire list to a temporary file in the spooler so that
the list can be renumbered.
The spooler was too full for the Pathmaker product to create this temporary file.
Issued by the Pathmaker product.
Effect. Update fails.
Recovery. Delete any unused files from the spooler and try updating the requester
context again. If the problem persists, contact your system manager.
